About me

Full-stack developer helping teams ship fast, accessible web apps.

Hello

Code with care

A short introduction — who I am, what I am good at and when I am available.

Portrait placeholder for Sidar Ediz

Developer, designer’s ally, documentation fan

I have spent the last eight years building web products end to end — SaaS dashboards, offline-first apps and developer tools — for startups, agencies and public-sector teams.

I care about the details users notice and the ones they never should: fast first paint, keyboard support and code that is easy to change.

  • Full ownership from data model to pixel-accurate UI
  • Accessibility and performance treated as features
  • Clear written communication and documented decisions
  • Comfortable in small teams and early-stage products

How I work

Simple principles

No buzzwords — just the habits that keep projects calm and predictable.

Clear communication and honest estimates, from the first call on

Small increments you can test every week

Performance budgets agreed before code is written

Accessible by default, not as an afterthought

Decisions written down so the next developer understands them

Readable code over clever code, every time

Ready for your next project?

Process

From idea to launch

  1. Discovery

We talk to the people who will use it and agree on what success looks like.

    Goals & scope

  2. Architecture

Data model, rendering strategy and API contracts are settled before the first screen.

    Concept & stack

  3. Build

Small, reviewed increments behind feature flags, tested as they land.

    Iterations & tests

  4. Launch

A measured release, then monitoring and support while real traffic arrives.

    Release & support

Strengths

What I bring

  1. Product thinking

I ask why before how, and cut scope when it protects the launch.

  2. Architecture

Structures that are simple today and still easy to change next year.

  3. Craft

Faithful implementation of the design system, including motion and states.

  4. Reliability

Tests, monitoring and calm deploys — no Friday-evening surprises.

FAQ

Questions & answers

Still unsure? Send me a message — I am happy to help.

Are you available for freelance projects?

Yes. I take on a small number of projects at a time, usually for three to six months, remote or with occasional on-site days.

What kind of projects fit best?

Web apps and dashboards with real users, where performance, accessibility and maintainability matter as much as the visual design.

Do you work with existing teams?

Often. I can lead a frontend, pair with your developers or set up the architecture and hand it over with documentation.

How do we start?

Send a short description through the contact form. I reply within two working days with questions or a proposal for a first call.

Which technologies do you use?

Mostly TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL, but the stack follows the problem — see the stack page for details.

Can you take over an existing codebase?

Yes. I start with a short audit of architecture, tests and performance, then propose a plan that keeps the product shippable.
